Tom Wood Nissan's own Director of Client Services David Kraft was a guest at the annual Japan-America Society of Indiana Gala, held Tuesday night at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. The Gala is an annual event held to celebrate Indiana businesses that have a mutually beneficial relationship with the Japanese, including Nissan, Eli Lilly and Company, Barnes & Thornburg, and Duke Energy, to name a few. Political dignitaries from both Japan and Indiana are always welcomed, as well. Former Indiana Governors Bob Orr and Mitch Daniels have attended in the past, and this year Governor Mike Pence was in attendance. David Kraft has been a member of the Japan-America Society of Indiana since 1999, and has attended every gala since.

The Japan-America Society of Indiana is a not-for-profit cultural and educational organization whose mission is to serve as a bridge of friendship between the people of Indiana and Japan. The Society is supported by a diverse membership of individuals, families, businesses and academic institutions. It also acts as the official business liaison between Japanese business and Indiana business. The Japanese business model is built upon trust and relationships, some taking years to achieve. This year marks the Japan America Society of Indiana's 25th anniversary, making the 2013 Gala extra special.

Tom Wood Nissan is proud to do our part to foster Japanese/Indiana relations. Stop by and see why!
