
Being Indianapolis, IN Nissan dealers who enjoy the Star Wars franchise, we’re really excited that the brand we represent partnered with Lucasfilm to promote the first stand-alone Star Wars Anthology movie, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Given its name and how the vehicle connects with the movie, the 2017 Nissan Rogue was the natural pick to promote this much-anticipated film.
Four other brands that are also recognized around the world were also selected to work with Lucasfilm to promote the upcoming release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. These brands include Duracell, General Mills, Gillette, and Verizon. Since establishing a partnership with Lucasfilm, each brand has developed its own custom marketing campaign that supports the tone of the movie’s promotional campaign.
Written by Gary Whitta and directed by Gareth Edwards, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story features Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso and Diego Luna as Cassian Andor. Hollywood heavyweight, Forest Whitaker, also appears in the film as Saw Gerrera. The film is set in a time between the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and the original Star Wars movie. The film is about a group of Rebel spies on a mission to steal the design plans for the Death Star, the Galactic Empire’s newest weapon.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be released in Great Britain on December 15, 2016. People in select US cities will be able to preview the film on the same evening. The movie will be released nationwide in America on December 16, 2016.
