Offering plenty of ground clearance, the Nissan Armada is powered by a 5.6-liter, eight-cylinder engine that is paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission.
While rear-wheel drive is standard, you can choose for your vehicle to have a four-wheel drive system with low range instead. In addition to rear-wheel drive or the optional four-wheel drive system, the Nissan Armada has a handy towing mode, hill-start assist, and a limited slip differential. When the vehicle is appropriately equipped, the 2017 Nissan Armada can tow up to 8,500 pounds.
The 2017 Nissan Armada is available in multiple trims:the SV, SL, and Platinum. The Nissan Armada has standard seating for eight passengers, but you can choose to get captain’s chairs in your second row if you buy or lease a Platinum trim. If you do this, your vehicle will be able to accommodate seven passengers instead of eight.
The standard features your SUV will have depend on the trim you decide to get. If you get a Platinum model, your vehicle will have front seats that are heated and ventilated, heated second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, and a blind-spot monitoring and mitigation system. Your SUV will also have a rear-seat entertainment system that has a seven-inch display mounted on the back of each front headrest, a DVD player, and dual USB ports.
