As Indianapolis, IN Nissan dealers, we get really excited whenever we’re looking forward to the date that a new Nissan car is going to arrive at our convenient location on East 96th Street. Right now, we’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of the 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport this spring.

If you love everything about the 2016 Nissan Murano but want an SUV that can easily slip into tight parking spaces, you’ll definitely want to take a look at the new Nissan Rogue Sport when it arrives at our Nissan dealership.

While the Nissan Rogue Sport shares the same basic platform that the 2017 Nissan Rogue is built on, the Nissan Rogue Sport is 12.1 inches shorter than the Nissan brand’s best-selling vehicle, the Nissan Rogue. The wheelbase on the Nissan Rogue Sport has a wheelbase that is 2.3 inches shorter than the wheelbase on its bigger SUV brethren, too. While the Nissan Rogue Sport has a noticeably smaller footprint, it has the same strut-front and multilink rear suspension that the Nissan Rogue has.

Unlike the Nissan Rogue, a third-row isn’t available in the new Nissan Rogue Sport. Even though you can’t add a third row, the Nissan Rogue Sport has enough comfortable seating for five adult passengers. The Nissan Rogue has plenty of room for your gear, too. When its rear seats are in position, the SUV has 23 cubic feet of cargo space. When the seats are folded, the SUV’s cargo capacity increases to 61 cubic feet.

The Nissan Rogue comes in three trims, the S, SV, and SL. Front-wheel drive is standard on all Nissan Rogue Sport models, but all-wheel drive is available as an option. The S trim has standard Bluetooth connectivity, a backup camera, satellite radio, and a convenient USB port. The SV trim has 17-inch wheels, dual-zone climate control, a remote and push button start, and automatic headlights. The top trim has standard 19-inch wheels, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a 360-degree camera, and fog lights.

A bundle of advanced safety features is optional. The features included in this available options package include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, a blind spot warning system, and a lane departure warning.
