Earlier this month, the new Nissan Altima was honored with a prestigious award from Strategic Vision. More specifically, the vehicle was named Strategic Vision’s Total Quality Impact award winner in the mid-size car segment. The Nissan Altima received 606 points out of a possible 1,000 points during its evaluation, which is more than 60 points above average for the vehicles in the car’s automotive segment.
To determine this year’s award winners, Strategic Vision compiled the 23rd annual Total Quality Impact report, which is based on the results reported in the New Vehicle Experience Study. This study surveyed 42,000 new vehicle buyers from July through December after they’d owned their automobiles for the first 90 days. The TQI rating system enables new car owners to rate their experiences with their automobiles in several ways, such as acceleration, visibility, vehicle image, emotional aspects, and vehicular problems.
According to Strategic Vision’s study, the 2017 Nissan Altima excelled in several key areas, including seat comfort, interior design and versatility, and engineering. The study’s editors shared the following thoughts about the Nissan Altima, “Most importantly, [the Nissan Altima]…delivers what its buyers hope for when they purchase. This kind of emotional delivery leads to greater loyalty later down the road."
