When you look at vehicles like the 2017 Nissan Rogue and the 2017 Nissan GT-R, it’s easy to see that the brand we represent is forward-thinking. If you read some of our recent blog posts which discuss some of the Nissan brand’s innovations, such as a rear door alert and an intelligent rearview mirror, you’ll see even more evidence that the automaker is always looking ahead.
The brand we represent isn’t just innovative when it comes to vehicles and new features. The car manufacturer is also creative with the way it promotes its automobiles, services, and partners. This creativity is one of the many reasons that Lucasfiim has chosen the Nissan brand as one of six partners that will participate in a global campaign to promote the upcoming film, Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The film is scheduled to open worldwide on December 15, 2017.
The other global brands that will be a part of the movie’s extensive promotional campaign are:
- Christian Louboutin
- General Mills
- Royal Philips
- Verizon
- VIZIO
With that lineup of well-known, trusted organizations, the Nissan brand is clearly in good company. Each of Lucasfilm’s international promotional partners has created their own custom-designed marketing program that complements the overall promotional efforts for Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
"This film will be blazing new ground in the Star Wars saga, and we feel our partners have designed some truly compelling experiences to match," says Lynwen Brennan, general manager of Lucasfilm.
"Our promotional partners have come up with some very exciting, imaginative campaigns to support The Last Jedi, and we can't wait to share them with fans," says Lylle Breier, senior vice president, Global Marketing Partnerships, Walt Disney Studios.
