While the 2018 Nissan Maxima has certainly attracted a lot of attention from motorists with a wide array of lifestyles since it arrived at our Nissan dealership, the 2018 Nissan LEAF is starting to turn heads, too. Even though it’s a recent arrival, the all-new Nissan LEAF has already won a prestigious award from Kelley Blue Book.
More specifically, the new Nissan LEAF earned the 5-Year Lowest Cost to Own Award from the automotive authority in the electric vehicle category. This honor was announced during the 2018 Chicago Auto Show earlier this month.
Kelley Blue Book’s 5-Year Cost to Own Awards recognize new automobiles and car makers that have the lowest estimated ownership costs over the first five years a car is owned. The editors at Kelley Blue Book look at projected depreciation, fuel expenses, finance and insurance costs, maintenance and repair fees, and registration expenses during the first five-year ownership period to determine the winners of their coveted awards.
When you visit our Indianapolis, IN Nissan dealership, you’ll see that the redesigned Nissan LEAF is the epitome of the Nissan brand’s Intelligent Mobility. The car features some of the automaker’s latest technology, including ProPILOT Assist and the car manufacturer’s e-Pedal.
"Nissan Intelligent Mobility is about applying the latest technology to set a new benchmark for exciting and safe driving and the all-new Nissan LEAF delivers on that in every way," said Brian Maragno, director, Nissan EV marketing and sales strategy. "In addition to the exhilarating drive, EVs are inherently less expensive to operate than gas-powered cars and the 2018 Nissan LEAF provides more range, content, and technology at a lower MSRP than the previous generation, offering customers more value at a lower price."
