As Indianapolis, IN Nissan dealers who are also movie lovers, we’re excited to tell you that the Nissan brand is partnering with Lucasfilm to promote the release of “Solo: A Star Wars Story.” Starring Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Paul Bettany, the new movie will hit theaters throughout the United States on May 25, 2018.
The brand we represent is just one of six that will work with Lucasfilm to promote the release of its upcoming movie. The other brands that will also partner with Lucasfilm include Denny's, Esurance, General Mills, SOLO Cup, and Symantec.
"Our six promotional partners for ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ have done a fantastic job developing first-class, innovative campaigns in support of the film," says Lylle Breier, senior vice president, Global Marketing Partnerships, Walt Disney Studios. "We are excited to share the compelling experiences and relevant activations that our partners have created for our fans."
If you’ve followed the Nissan brand’s past involvement with Lucasfilm, you know that the automaker isn’t shy about using vehicles like the 2018 Nissan Rogue to promote films that are part of the “Star Wars” ongoing saga. Since the Nissan Rogue was already used to promote a different “Star Wars” film, we have to wonder which Nissan vehicle will be used to promote “Solo: A Star Wars Story.”
Will the Nissan brand use the 2018 Nissan Altima to promote the upcoming “Star Wars” film? Or will the automaker choose the 2018 Nissan Frontier, the 2018 Nissan Pathfinder, or another Nissan car? It seems we’ll all have to wait a few more weeks to find out.
